  • An active Octopus Energy account
  • An installed and working Octopus Home Mini

🔧 Step-by-Step: Installing the Octopus Energy Integration with Home Mini Support

One Click Install

Manual Install:

  1. Open Home Assistant
  2. Go to HACS > Integrations
  3. Click the three-dot menu and choose Custom Repositories
  4. Paste in the URL:

  5. Click Download
  6. Restart Home Assistant

Once installed, go to Settings > Devices & Services and add the Octopus Energy integration. When prompted:

By default, the value is set to 40. However, this can vary depending on your region.
✅ You can find your actual calorific value on your latest gas bill and update it in the integration settings for more accurate tracking if your meter reports in cubic metres (m³).
