Most Tesla update coverage either parrots the official release notes or buries practical details under speculation. This tracker takes a different approach: it shows you exactly what each software version added, and flags which features are gated by hardware so you know whether an update actually applies to your car.

If you already own a Tesla, use this page to check whether a new release is worth installing straight away. If you are researching a purchase, the version history gives you a practical sense of how often Tesla ships meaningful improvements.

Hardware rule used in this tracker

• Features tagged (HW3 only) need the older FSD computer and will not appear on HW4 cars.
• Features tagged (HW4 flagged) are currently limited to newer hardware.
• Features tagged (AMD flagged) need an AMD Ryzen-powered infotainment system.
• Features with no hardware tag are treated as available on all versions.
