Why I Keep Auto-Updates On for Tessie

I've been using Tessie on my Tesla Model 3 Long Range since April 2026 and keep auto-updates enabled – every release tends to add something genuinely useful. The Sentry Mode automations added in v15.5.0 were a highlight for me; my car now reacts automatically when it detects activity while parked. I started on a paid premium plan and earned enough referrals to qualify for Tessie's free lifetime plan. If you're a Tesla owner who likes deeper insight into your car, this tracker is worth bookmarking.

Some older build dates were previously mislabelled. Where the exact build date is not verified, entries now identify the official release-series announcement instead. History is retained. Official release archive.

The new lifetime charging-energy metric and specified Profiler additions require Tesla firmware 2026.32+. Check requirements.

A note from Steven

I track Tessie iOS updates because the app changes frequently and not every update gets a full announcement. I use Tessie on my iPhone daily to check battery health, charging costs and automations on my 2021 Model 3 Long Range. If a new version breaks something I rely on, I want to know before I update.
